Terry Sherman, managing member of the firm, has been a Certified Public Accountant for over twenty-five years. In addition to extensive experience in public accounting providing assurance services (audits, reviews and compilations), she has served in the capacity of Controller / Chief Financial Officer for several privately-owned businesses.  This gives her insight and a unique perspective in providing practical advice to her clients in solving business challenges.

Terry started the firm in 2006 to provide more specialized assistance to her clients.  Most of the clients she works with are privately-held, with a strong entrepreneurial bent.  She specializes in financial reporting system design for relevant management reports, budgeting and forecasting, cash management, and operational analysis.

Her nonprofit clients include educational institutions, cultural arts, environmental, human services, and religious organizations, and private foundations.  She has served on many nonprofit boards and assisted a variety of nonprofit organizations with startup and development issues.

Terry graduated from the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce with a concentration in Accounting.  She is a member of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Greater Richmond Chapter of the International Coach Federation.  Terry currently serves as Treasurer for Environic Foundation International and Henley Street Theatre and on the Board of Network of Enterprising Women.
